Roomers Baden-Baden
Baden-Baden is a town of colonnades, bathhouses and old-world promenades. Roomers draws a sharper line through it. The hotel stands in the centre, a short walk from the Kurhaus and the Lichtentaler Allee, and belongs to the Frankfurt group behind the first Roomers.
Milanese architect Piero Lissoni shaped the interiors. Expect dark timber, low light and very deliberate proportions. Photography and contemporary works line the corridors and hang in the rooms. Up on the roof, a pool looks across the town to the wooded hills of the Black Forest.

Hotel Milano Scala
La Scala is a few minutes away on foot, and the hotel never lets you forget it. Music threads through the building. Scores, stage portraits and references to composers and performers run from the public rooms up to the bedrooms.
Look up and you find a working garden. Herbs and vegetables grow on the roof terrace, and some of the harvest reaches the kitchen. Sustainability sits at the centre of how the hotel presents itself. Brera, the Duomo and the Galleria are all within a comfortable walk.

Palacio de Villapanés
Here the building is the collection. An eighteenth-century palace in the Santa Catalina quarter, north of the cathedral, was restored as a hotel with its grand staircase and arcaded central patio intact.
Rooms open off the galleries around that courtyard. Original stonework and carved detail sit next to quiet contemporary furniture, so the building reads as layered rather than frozen in one century. From the rooftop terrace, Seville stretches out in white walls, terracotta and church towers.
